Hi Del, In June of 2007 my wife and daughter had the pleasure of meeting you and your wonderful wife Carolyn at the high school bowling camp in Anderson, IN., It was a particularly bad time because her grandfather had passed the thursday before the camp. Since then our daughter has really taken off on her bowling thanks to Carolyn and yourself. My daughter always laughs about when you'd crack on carolyn about her heavy accent...like when you asked her to say "hot dog". Anyways I just wanted to thank you and your wife for being such wonderful individuals and making such a impact on our daughters bowling future, now were jsut hoping a good bowling school notices her...keep your fingers crossed for us and Keri
Rick and I enjoyed going to our third bowling clinic with you as our ever-patient coach. Having Mika with you at the one in Upland was a bonus. We are excited planning a trip to Red Rock Lanes in January, for the PBA Tournament of Champions. Big stuff for us, this will be our first. We've signed up to bowl with the pros on the 24th and bought tickets for the ESPN televised final on Sunday the 25th. We were thrilled to find out you are to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame that weekend. Is there any chance the ceremony is open to the mere mortal "Del and Carolyn" wannabees? When exactly is it? Are there tickets to purchase? I know you and Carolyn celebrated your 12th anniversary earlier this year. Rick and I will be married 30 years on the 22nd of December. The stay in Red Rock with the hopes of seeing you, meeting Carolyn, and gosh...just being awestruck...is our way of celebrating our 30th. We are excited for you and hope to see you in Red Rock. I have pics to send you from BZ Upland, but I need your email address. Thanks,
